This month theme is Idenity & Self Expression. Young artists will explore creative ways to express who they are. We will explor drawing, painting, & mixed media to tell personal stories and celebrate our individuality.

Week 1 – “What Makes Me, Me” → Identity Collage

Week 2 – Colors of Emotion– Express feelings using color, brushstrokes & painting techniques.

Week 3 – “Favorite Things Still Life” → Still Life with Personal Objects (please bring in some of your favorite things to draw).

Week 4 – “Alter Ego” → Create an artwork of yourself as a superhero, animal, or fantasy character.

Week 5 – Illustrated Identity– Create an illustration with pen and India ink that represent personal stories, dreams, or favorite symbols.

Dates: Tuesdays @ 4 - 5:30PM

All supplies are included, although art journals are encouraged to plan, sketch, and work out ideas before starting projects.
